BIG TINE 10: THE BEARDED BUCK

The Bearded Buck out of Western Pennsylvania, started out as a practical joke. Founder of The Bearded Buck, Jerry Tibbott, and one of his hunting buddies transformed that joke into something much more real, now an Outdoor Lifestyle Brand and Entertainment Company. The cast of The Bearded Buck, Austin Tibbott, Justin Sharp, Ron Buterbaugh, and Brett Sharp, dedicates themselves to not only being stewards for deer and turkey, but land as well. I caught up with them to ask ten of our favorite hunting questions. Get to know Austin, Justin, Ron, and Brett below!     Favorite State to hunt? AT: Pennsylvania for sure! DINNER THIS WEEK: CROCKPOT VENISON CHILI

In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a night of hunting and having a crockpot of warm food waiting. In hunting camps everywhere, chili is a staple. There are so many versions of chili, but personally, I don't like beans in mine. I bulk it up with chunky green pepper, onions, bacon bits, diced tomatoes, and green chilies. Sometimes, I also like to add macaroni or medium shell noodles. I usually cook those on the side and keep crackers and Tostitos chips close so people have options! That way you can eat it differently throughout the week so it doesn’t feel like it’s the same meal! I recently made my version of Crockpot Venison Chili and had requests for the recipe, so here it is!   Ingredients:   30 oz. Tomato...

Although I'm tired, I find the motivation to roll out of bed, knowing it's only a matter of hours before the woods will wake up. The house is quiet. I walk into my kitchen and start the coffee and walk back to the bedroom for a set of base layers and socks to change into. Returning to the kitchen, I can smell the aroma of Folger's. I grab a Yeti cup from the cabinet and pour myself some coffee, grab some snacks from the pantry and head out to the garage. Before I leave, I do a once over, making sure I have...
