Big Tine Chicory
Big Tine chicory is a high protein perennial forage that is great for both deer and turkey. Chicory can be planted in a variety of soils, is pH tolerant and can handle drought conditions very well. It does best when planted in mostly sunny areas but can tolerate some shade. Chicory works well when planted alone, with clover, cereal grains or a variety of brassica.
