Last Stand is a unique mix of forage kale, turnips and forage rape designed for late season hunting spots when the temps start to drop. When other food sources are running out, Last Stand will just be getting started, providing deer with the energy they need during the winter months. To make a full season plot, Last Stand works well when mixed with cereal grains or Big Tine’s Foundation Clover.

Last Stand performs best when the soil pH is in a 6.0 to 7.0 range. A soil test is encouraged to determine your soils pH and fertility requirements prior to planting. Select a site with medium to well drained soils that receives 4 hours of sunlight per day.
*If using a drill, set the machine no deeper than a depth of ¼ inch.
For enhanced results, once plants reach 4 to 6 inches tall, add 25 lbs. of a high nitrogen fertilizer such as 34-0-0 per 1/3 acre. Do not apply fertilizer when plants are wet.
Place a small wire browse cage over a section of your plot to monitor browsing pressure.
