Big Tine Buck Brunch

$19.99

FALL / WINTER ANNUAL

Buck Brunch takes away the issues many food plotters face of needing large equipment to plant a food plot. Buck Brunch’s no-till formula allows hunters to strategically place small private food plots where they need them with as little equipment as hand tools. Buck Brunch is great for remote plots around your tree stand, old clearings, paths in the woods, or corners of fields. Buck Brunch needs 3-4 hours of filtered sunlight per day, and good seed to soil contact.

Planting Instructions
  • Clear as much of the ground vegetation as possible by raking, weed eating, etc.  If needed, spray an herbicide such as glyphosate to kill any unwanted vegetation.  Wait the required amount of time to plant as suggested on the herbicide label.

  • Once the vegetation has been removed, rake or disturb the top layer of soil to prepare the seed bed.

  • Spread the seed over the prepared site, and work it into the soil without burying the seed too deep.  Soil contact is very important.

  • Tip: Apply 50 lbs. of 10-10-10 and 150 lbs. of pelletized lime for best results.

  • Recommended:  Once plot is approximately 4-6” tall add 20 lbs. of a high nitrogen fertilizer such as 34-0-0.
Optional

Place a small wire browse cage over a section of your plot to monitor browsing pressure.

**Plant not deeper than 1/8 – ¼ inch.
